The Ossining Sankofa Homecoming Committee is an organization that is committed to the African concept of Sankofa. Sankofa is the African concept of honoring positive values from the past and using them in the present. Our mission is to utilize those values to support positive and progressive social change in our community and to commemorate the African American contribution to the history of Ossining, New York.
